Instead of reacting, try to know its social, economic, political, educational and religious culture. By then you will realize that there is more than the RANT.

GOOGLING FOR HIM
Suppose you already have asked everyone you know, including your cute little dog about something you would want to know and yet to no avail could not get a satisfactory reply...I bet Google is going to be your next best friend. Ask Google and it will give you not just one but millions of answers.
Search engines like Google give us the convenience of searching almost everything we want to know. In fact, there is already information overload. Today, in a time where the internet is in the veins of the majority, we are also challenged and invited to do the same for the Lord. That is, to search for Him or if to speak the language of this age, to google for Him. The beauty of search engines is that it can also lead us to substantial websites that include: The Holy See, Touching Homilies of a Priest, Practical Soulfood For Successful People, and am very sure that there are a lot more in cyberspace... We just have to google for it just like googling for a biography of a favorite actor.
Let us google for Him...
Let us strive to know the Lord...(Hosea 6:3)

MUSICAL SILENCE
Almost every teenager owns an ipod, mp3 player, mp4 player, and cellphones that could play music. Of course, pirated ones included. Not only teenagers, but every music lover would wish a gadget that could store and play their type of melody. And anywhere we go, we see them everywhere. It eases their boredom especially when they are to wait...wait for long queues or wait for an event or show to begin. These gadgets are becoming boredom terminators.
In as much as I also love good music, music that relaxes me and makes me dream, I do away with earphones and headphones when I travel and even on short trips like going to work or to a mall. I take these moments as great opportunities to reflect on the realities of life from the sights of the surroundings and faces of people. Faces of people do reveal a lot of their personhood that may not be known to their closest friends or even to themselves. It is an amazing fact - the complexity and mystery of each human being. Travel moments are also great opportunities for me to commune with nature especially on long trips.
Mountains and hills, bless the Lord.
Everything growing from the earth, bless the Lord...
(Canticle of Daniel)
And most importantly, these moments are great opportunities for me to be with my God. A loving embrace felt so profoundly that takes my breath away.
With a seemingly never-ending road ahead, green and silent meadows on a car's window, tiny droplets of rain on the windshield, and partly cloudy skies... As I listen to silent music that envelopes my being, I could only wish that it could stay forever...
